lyrics
Lay down Indiana honey it's no use
The furnace is still burning and the cabinet's full of booze
And don't you try to make me stay I could leave if I wanted to
Wipe those tears off of your face we both knew we were bound to lose
Bound to lose
Bound to lose
We knew from the beginning that we were both bound to lose
So I gave up my heart left it for dead on the front step outside your barricaded door
It wasn't meant to trip you up I did not mean you any harm just couldn't use it anymore
And I was confused
About the things that I knew
But I could tell by your expression babe that I was bound to lose
Every single river the Seine, the Charles and the Zambezi they all ran me right into your heart
And everything that happened seemed so senseless and indifferent
Every place I put my feet down fell apart
And I wanted you
To tell me what to do
But you just stared down at your feet and I knew I was bound to lose
Bound to lose
Bound to lose
Well we knew from the beginning that we were both bound to lose
Such a special album I struggle to think of what to say about it. At times I'm afraid or put off even listening to it and sometimes its the most comforting thing in the world. I got this from a vinyl code and I only listened to that physical copy of it the morning after the night my dog died. The first time I ever lost someone that meant the world to me and it was the first time I didn't cry to it. This album is beautiful and if youre reading this, you are loved memon_dayz
